| Camrosa Water District employs a
full-time staff of 20 led by a General Manager Frank E. Royer who also serves as
Secretary to the Board of Directors.
Mr. Royer was commissioned in the United States
Navy in 1971 and completed more than 21 years of honorable service. He
arrived in Ventura County in 1985, and served his final two tours of duty at
the Naval Construction Battalion Center and the Naval Ship Weapon Systems
Engineering Station at Port Hueneme. He transitioned into civilian public
service in 1992 and served as the Assistant General Manager of both United
Water Conservation District and Camrosa Water District prior to becoming the
General Manager of Camrosa in 2007.
As General Manager, Mr.
Royer is responsible for the general oversight of potable drinking water and
non-potable surface water production and distribution as well as wastewater
collection, treatment and water recycling at the District’s Water
Reclamation Facility.
With a service area of more than 31 square miles, the District provides
service to more than 30,000 residents in eastern Camarillo and the Santa
Rosa Valley in Ventura County. Mr. Royer earned his Bachelor of Arts
degree at the University of Minnesota and his Master of Science degree at
the University of Southern California. He has been a resident in the City
of Camarillo since 1988. |
