CANDIDATE FILING PERIOD FOR THREE (3) SEATS ON
THE CAMROSA WATER DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
JULY 13 – AUGUST 7, 2026
Potential candidates interested in running for one of the 3 seats (Divisions 1, 2, and 5) on the Camrosa Board of Directors must file with the Ventura County Elections Division during the nomination period which opens on Monday, July 13th and closes Friday, August 7th at 5pm.
Candidates for one of the seats on the Board of Directors must be:
- A United States Citizen
- 18 years old or older on or before election day
- A registered voter who resides within district boundaries AND within the division of the available seat (Division Map)
- Reside in the district during incumbency
Camrosa Board members oversee policymaking, executive/financial management, and long-range planning of the District.
Board members serve staggered four-year terms, with two terms expiring in one even-numbered year, and three terms expiring the following even-numbered year.
Camrosa Board of Directors Meetings occur on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 10am (unless indicated on our Board Calendar).
Andrew Nelson (Division 1), Jeffrey Brown (Division 2), and Terry Foreman (Division 5) currently occupy the 3 seats to be filled on November 3rd.
